The Lodge boasts panoramic 180 degree views over the Mainland, and over Eastern Cove, Island Beach, Strawbridge point and American River on Kangaroo Island. Come and relax with us - enjoy the views and passing boats from the front and rear decks, or from the comfort of the open plan living areas and main bedroom. Or stroll along the nearby beach with its abundant birdlife. At dusk, keep a watch-out from the decking for the tribe of friendly wallabies who regularly come to visit. 

 

Horizon Lodge is a self contained three bedroom holiday home that sleeps up to 8 people (Bed 1: Queen size; Bed 2: 2 singles, Bed 3: 4 adult size bunks). The Lodge has airconditioning, ceiling fans, microwave, TV, DVD, CD/Radio, Outdoor settings and a BBQ - everything you need for a relaxing stay.

 

Offstreet parking available for your vehicles and boat. American River is proud of its newly upgraded boat ramp! The General Store, beach and two restaurants are all within walking distance of the Lodge.
